Chajori Romani / Aj Da Na Zadena (Slovak-Roma/Russian-Roma). Chajori Romani is considered the national anthem of the Slovak Roma. In our arrangement, we’ve woven in a reference to another national anthem with a somewhat similar melody. The lyrics translate in part as: “Make­ me ­a fire,­ not­ to­o small­ and­ not­ too­ big.­ I­ haven’t­ been ­home, I don't know who’s been here. My love is coming, the beautiful Roma girl. In the concentration camp I worked very hard and they beat me.” Aj Da Na Zadena is a nostalgic and melancholic love song. Language: Romanes.

Krilja is a trio based in Gothenburg, Sweden, who play traditional Roma/Gypsy songs from Russia and Eastern Europe. The music is of uncertain date but in many cases from the 19th century and onwards and shifts between lyrical melancholy and fiery intensity.
